Blue Hill Memorial Hospital has hired David Garey to lead its diagnostic imaging department. Prior to his appointment in Blue Hill, Garey managed diagnostic imaging for The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC) which, like Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, is part of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS). 

“We were fortunate to recruit an imaging professional with Dave’s level of experience,” says John Ronan, VP Clinical and Support Services.  “Dave will be a key player as we make future investments in diagnostic imaging.  I am confident that he has the expertise to help us make key decisions regarding how we staff, equip, and deliver services related to diagnostic imaging.”

Garey is excited about the opportunities in Blue Hill.  “I loved working at The Aroostook Medical Center, but couldn’t resist the opportunity to move to this region and be part of an organization that is so committed to growth and excellence.  I’m especially impressed by the investments Blue Hill has made and will continue to make in state-of-the-art equipment.” 

Garey lives in Surry.
